Creamy rice with artichokes and sobrasada (Thermomix)

35 MINUTES • 4 PEOPLE

  • 50 g olive oil
  • 250 g of rice
  • 1 litre of water
  • 4 artichokes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 "ramellet" or hanging tomatoes
  • 100 g of sobrasada
  • 1/2 butifarron or butifarra sausage (optional)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt

Easy to prepare and very nutritious.

Start by putting the butterfly in the glass, cut the artichokes into wedges and put them in the glass together with the oil. Program 5 minutes, Varoma temperature and spoon speed. Remove everything, strain the oil and reserve it for the next step.



Crush the garlic cloves and onion for 5 seconds on speed 5, removing the remains from the sides of the glass. Pour in the oil used with the artichokes and program 5 minutes, Varoma temperature and speed 1.


Add the peeled and chopped tomatoes and the sobrasada, season with salt and add the water. Program 10 minutes, Varoma temperature and speed 1.


When the time is up, put the butterfly in the glass. Add the rice together with the diced butifarrón or butifarra sausage (it gives it an excellent touch but it is also delicious without it). Program 14 minutes, Varoma temperature and speed 1. Halfway through the time (7 minutes), add the artichokes. Serve immediately.


That's it! Now we have an excellent rice. :-)
